All but Stephen Godfrey qualified from the University of Sheffield, recognised for consistently excellent teaching, scoring 96% in the last national assessment and rating 5 for research. Stephen was a highly respected teacher there for eight years.
Stephen Godfrey qualified from The University of Leeds in 1979 and specialises
in root canal therapy and conservative dentistry. He gained his masters
degree in conservative dentistry at the renowned Eastman Dental Institute
in London. He has delivered post graduate education throughout the
region for the last 25 years. He runs the Challenging Courses programme.
Stephen Godfrey Dental Care represents the best in technology and expertise.
Robert Dyas (left) is our specialist surgeon qualifying in 1986. An RCS fellow
and on the specialist register of the General Dental Council, he gained
the prestigious Wellcome Trust Research Training Fellowship and the
Alan Hilton Medal from the Manchester Medical Society. Placing implants
for 15 years, Robert successfully places 500+ annually.
David Murphy (right) qualified in 1996 and limits his treatments to advanced implant,
restorative and aesthetic dentistry. Trained in implantology at the
University of Sheffield, David has a great depth of exposure that’s
been further developed by his post graduate restorative masters degree
and his work at Stephen Godfrey Dental Care.
Christina Abson(left) qualified from Sheffield University as a Dental Hygienist and Therapist in 2003.
As Staff Hygienist at the Charles Clifford Dental Hospital, she has worked closely with many well-respected consultant Periodontologists.
Supporting the team at Stephen Godfrey Dental Care, Christina provides a full range of non-surgical periodontal therapies in line with current best practice guidelines.
Christina now divides her week between the Practice and teaching student hygienists and therapists at the University of Sheffield.
Joanne Kearsley(right) graduated
in 1987. Experienced in all aspects of general dentistry, Joanne won
the coveted Medical Protection Society elective prize and supports
the team with high quality general dentistry. Her medico legal training
and experience brings a further dimension to enhance our patient care.
